This post will cover some of the new features being added to the new Web Models Index. They are subject to change at any time, though more than likely what I cover here will be on the new site. Some if it’s already coded, some of it still needs to be done.
User Groups:
For those users who sign up (no reason not to), there will be user groups you can belong to. Here is a list of the groups, and what is needed to reach them, as well as some rewards for reaching some of them.
User – Everyone starts out here. You have access to the full site.
Power User – You obtain this group once you have made at least 200 votes (with a rating of 3, 4 or 5) and at least 20 comments on models, galleries, images or videos. Only 50 votes per day will be counted.
Elite User – This group is obtained by making at least 1500 votes and at least 150 comments on models, galleries, images or videos. Only 50 votes per day will be counted, and they must be either a 3, 4 or 5.
VIP – To gain this group, you must make a donation to the site of at least $10. This group bypasses all 3 user groups. So if you sign up to the site, then make a donation a minute later, you gain this rank. This is a permanent rank. You will not lose your VIP status. This bypasses needing to become an Elite User, and will count towards becoming a Power or Elite VIP.
Power VIP – This group is gained by making a donation of at least $50. It doesn’t need to be donated all at once. $5 a month for 10 months will qualify you for this user group. This bypasses needing to become an elite user.
Elite VIP – Donating at least $150 will grant you this user group. Like the previous group, it doesn’t need to be done all at once. You also have a chance at the 3rd monthly contest for the the month.
Contest Winner x1 – This group is gained by winning the monthly contest. However, to be able to participate in the 2nd monthly contest, you will need to do whats required to reach Elite User. To participate in the 3rd monthly contest, you will need to do whats required to reach Elite VIP. If you do what’s required to reach VIP, Super VIP or Elite VIP, you will be able to skip what’s needed to become an Elite User.
Contest Winner x3 – This group is gained the same way as the previous group, and all other conditions apply. However, to reach this group, you must have won the monthly contest three times.
Super Member – This group is the highest group a member can obtain. The only way to reach it is if you do the things required to reach Elite User (1500 votes and 150 comments, or buy VIP to skip the voting and comments), Elite VIP (donated at least $150 to the site) and won the monthly contest 3 times.
Moderator – This user group is for those who work on the site. Either by moderating comments, or adding content. Do not ask for this position. I won’t be giving out this rank easily.
Webmaster – That’s me. My username and comments will appear in this color.
So these are the user groups coming to the new site. Some ranks have special rewards for reaching them. They are as follows:
Reach Elite User:
This rank has it’s own monthly contest. So not only do you get to participate in the general monthly contest, but you also have a second chance to win if you didn’t win the first. Only elite users (or higher rank) have a chance at the second monthly contest. If an elite user wins the first monthly contest, they are not eligible to win the second one for that month. However, all other elite users have a chance to win the second.
Reach Elite VIP:
Like the elite user, elite VIPs also have their own monthly contest. You have 3 chances to win. Rules and conditions apply to all contest rules. Out of those 3 chances, you can only win 1. Also, upon reaching this rank, you will receive either one 3 month membership to a site of your choice, or three 1 month memberships to 3 sites of your choice.
Obtain Contest Winner x3:
As soon as you win 3 monthly contests, you will get one extra 1 month membership to a site of your choice (so on your 3rd win, you get 2 sites instead of 1). Even though this rank is higher than Elite VIP and Elite User, you will not be allowed to participate in the 2nd and 3rd monthly contest for the month, unless you obtain those ranks beforehand, or do whats required to reach them afterwards.
Reach Super Member:
Reaching this rank will take time, and a lot of effort on your part. By reaching this rank, you would need to complete the other ranks, so the perks attached to those ranks will continue with this rank. However, you will have access to the 4th monthly contest each month. Only super members will be able to participate in this contest. Since a lot of people won’t be reaching this rank, the few who do will be winning a lot.
